APA Hotel Shizuoka-eki Kita

Very closer to the station and other facilities

The pillows need upgrade. Very uncomfortable.

The APA Hotel Shizuoka-eki Kita is a wonderful place to stay while visiting Shizuoka! I was so impressed by the functionality of the room and the attention to detail: many electrical outlets (several charging ports by the bed), suitcase storage under the bed, the ability to dim the lights and control from bed, two types of pillows, a large, comfortable bed, a wall unit TV with information and BBC (appreciated!), a large desk with pullout drawer, which can double as a coffee table…and more. Everything is so incredibly thoughtful done!

I liked everything about my stay!! Wonderful welcoming staff, luggage storage and even a welcome drink. I also enjoyed the traditional breakfast.

I had a pleasant 2-night stay at this hotel. Overall, it’s a lovely place with excellent service, a satisfying breakfast, and well-maintained facilities. The staff were consistently courteous and professional, which made the experience all the more enjoyable.

The only downside was the absence of complimentary beauty samples. Thankfully, I had brought my own, but it might be inconvenient for guests who don't. Other than that, everything was great.

Convenient location. Large TV screen!

Washroom was a bit musty as well as the sheets being damp (room might have been unoccupied for a few days) but sheets dampness changed when they were changed. Parking was confusing at first as you have to park nearby at garage 8 and they given you discount chits. Had to learn this.

It was quite and all as expected. Friendly stuff and the bed was really comfortable. I also appreciate that I could open the window a bit for fresh air.

All was good ?

Very clean. Beds really comfy. Excellent location.

Not much choice on TV

The location of the hotel is excellent, very close to the Shizuoka train station, as well as the main attractions in the city. The hotel also has laundry facilities which work well!

The room we booked was quite small, not leaving much space to open suitcases. Also I don't like when the beds are place against a wall, leaving only one way to exit the bed.

APA hotels always meet my expectations. Clean, efficient, affordable. Simple yet elegant.Like: convenient location, this APA hotel is near Shizuoka station. There are also multiple restaurants in the area. And the staff are amazing.Dislike: what is there to dislike with APA hotels?

It was fine for a single night. The beds were comfortable but the pillows the worst I have ever experienced.

its ok

Can not check in earlier, we had to sit there with our larger luggage's. Staff can not speak english, great diffifficulty communicating.

Perfect central location, close to central station. Nice clean hotel as usual for Apa chain. Good value for the price.

There is only one elevator and the wifi in the room didn’t work.

The location is convenient to the train and bus stations, and to the shopping areas.

Very limited facilities in there.

Everything! The location is great, not far from Shizuoka Station, and there are stores, shops, restaurants around the area. It's quiet, the staffs are kind and helpful! We passed 4 nights at APA Hotel and enjoyed a lot! The breakfast is awesome ????

Within walking distance to the stations. Comfortable rooms and basic necessities provided. Nothing exceptional, the same as all APA hotels in terms of room size and cleanliness.

At night it may get a little noisy. I could hear people outside of the building talking and screaming, especially if youre staying over on the weekends.

Very clean, warm and comfortable

Nice hotel near the station. Great location with many places to eat nearby. Room was small but fine for a business hotel.

Room was small but fine for a business hotel

The staff were great. Right next to 7/11 and food stands. Location was great. And cleaness was good

Rooms are a bit small but that's very common in Japan. Not their fault at all. Great stay.

Location was around 10 minutes from the JR station and there was hot tea served in the lobby. Free bottle of water on the day you check in.

Rooms were a bit small given the location (we not in Tokyo/Osaka) and cleaning can be improved as there were dust near the bedside.

Lovely clean room and top location for night life and food.

The room was a bit small, but beautifully clean.

Good location. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Clean. Across the street from a fabulous izakaya style restaurant. Aburi No Suke I think was the name.
